Leelanau County - the web service used by the Village of Empire - is transitioning to a new website design. We understand that our Village site access might be unpredictable during this transition.

However, our work does not stop because of a technology glitch. On this site - under Information and Links is the "world" of Master Plan documents.

Below is the 2018 Recreation Plan for reference as the Planning Commission has undertaken a 5 year review. We put it on this site as a means to assist anyone who was responding to the questionnaire for the review.
